The Cinematography workshop with Ariana shows a film about a  interview about this rapper and how is childhood and how he survived he's child hood. how the cameras are used to interview the person is different then any other regular interview cause it has a lot of different effects.  When the you interview someone you don't want the camera to just be facing the interviewer face because then it makes the film boring. In the film it shows how the director edits the film should by the look and also how the director makes it so the audiences  can see that the background matches with what mood is the interviewer is feeling.The interviewer stands and he/she body structures counts in how the interviewer mood is feeling also there tone of voice.

I never knew what Cinematography was until watched that filmed that really was a great film. The film explains everything but not by words the director explains he's ideas with the effects of the film. The way this film was created was different then other films I watched before the way the director film the interviewer with different angles and sound affects. Every time the interviewer wil speak the Background music will change depending on the mood of the interviewer. The film show a lot of movements of the interviewer that caught my attention because of every move he will make also affected the type of background music.

This workshop was a really good workshop for us because it  helped us with our own film to help it look better.There is something about this film that I will like for my team to use for our film witch is to use  the sound effects and the moods changes together. This workshop was to show us different things we can put to our film to make it stand strong. Now that i worked in this workshop i can make sure that my team does the same thing to make our video the best.

Teenage teaser Blog

Teenager is one of the coolest trailer ever because it just go straight into what is the film about.  The film is about the history of teenagers.  I like how this film can catch the persons attentions  real quick because it shows so many different effects and that is what really makes a film different from other films.  You always want the person that is watching to keep there eyes on it.  That is what your film to look because the trailer is to show a sneak peek about what's your movie about so if the trailer don't catches the person eye then what makes you think that they would want to catch the movie, and that what is different about this film it makes you ask for more.  Here's The link of Teenage teaser.  It is looks to be a great film.

Workshop with Kwan:
This workshop really helped me a lot with how to start building up my teams movie that we are getting started on. one thing that he showed me that really caught my attention was when we were doing the audio editing and i can change my voice there so many cool choices that you can pick and it can make your movie even better.I learned so many things that i never knew about making your movie the best there so many effects that you can put in the movie so it can look better also the way it transform you can make it so different so your movie would be so the best movie ever and your audiences will like to watch.

The Reason Why

This poem was written as part of a Power Writers Workshop in my Mediastorm Class.  The program was highlighted in the film To Be Heard.

The reason why I make sure that every night I go to sleep thinking about you
the reason why I have to leave my house on the weekends
the reason why I go to school, even when my eyes are half way open
the reason why I scream,fight and put up a show
I scream FUCK YOU, you scream DO YOU
The reason why we break up then make up
The Reason I Look Into your eyes and I can tell a story
The reason why I stay up on the phone until 530am to wake up at 7am
Sometimes I look up at the stars and think about how long it's going to last
but, the reason why is because i'm afraid
Afraid to loss the point of all the reasons why I LOVE YOU .

To Be Heard

The film To Be Heard is  film that once you watch it you will want to watch it over and aver again.  When i watched this film i wasn't that interested because i'm not really into poems. Once i watched it i realize that it's not all about  reading poems what it's really about, how poems can change your life into a better person. These young guys Anthony, Kaina and Pearl where the main characters of this film.  They where all born in south bronx.  They went to school and tryed to keep everything undercontrol with there life and try to stay out of trouble and turn there life into a better one.  It all statred at school when this brave directors named Roland Legiardi-Laura and Amy Sultan.  They where teaching at a school in the bronx for peotry and they thought that mabye if the kids wrote poetry about there life that it will make a big change.   These kids where really going through a lot in there life with there family and everything that was happing to them would get in there way of doing better in school for a better future.ROLAND LEGIARDI-LAURAROLAND LEGIARDI-LAURA

The Ninth Floor is a film that will having you wondering and thinking about after you finish watching.  It is based on the lives of people that are in danger due to drug use.  As everyday in life there are probably more than 1,000 people in New York City that has to go through this and it's really sad.  When I was watching this video it really made me sad and disappointed because it is like they will give up anything just to have these drugs in them even though they know that it's hurting.  It really has me thinking how can we help these people and the people around them.  Drugs can do a lot of damage but, it can also change your life and make you a better and stronger person.  The characters in Ninth Floor where all couples living together and try to work out there lives try to get clean.  Jessie was one of the main characters in this film.  She was living by herself in an apartment and got kicked out because of her drug use.  She was left in the streets so she deiced to move with her mom and try to get clean.  That never worked out and she keeped ending up hospitalized.  She stood with her mother and try to stay clean.  Then there's Dionn and Racheal.  They lived together in an apparent in the Bronx. They were trying to get clean also but then something else came on the way that was really special.  They had a baby together that really changed there lives because it helped them realize that now they have to be responsible.  There was something in the film that Dionn said, "that new born has nothing bad in it that new born has everything good."  This film had me thinking a lot after how many people need our help not only with drugs but in others things.
